Our project supports SDG 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities, to make cities safe and sustainable for everyone, especially the elderly.
It also contributes to SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-Being, because AI Guardian helps in early detection of stroke and falls, giving elderly people a better chance for survival and treatment.

According to 2025 World Stroke Organization, 1 out of 4 people will have a stroke in their lifetime. Nowadays, many elderly people live alone because their children are busy working in other cities or countries. But what happens if they suddenly have a stroke or fall down when nobody is around? Sometimes, help comes too late, and they miss the “golden hour” – the first 60 minutes, which is very important for stroke treatment. Those elderly had contributed to our society for most of their life, and now it is our turn to take care of them.

Imagine this: It is night time, and a grandmother is alone at home. Suddenly, she falls down and cannot move. Nobody knows until the next morning. By then, the chance for early treatment is gone. This is the painful situation we want to prevent.

Our solution: AI Guardian is a smart, friendly home monitor. It helps watch people and send fast alerts so families can act quickly.

• For strokes, it uses an AI camera to check the mouth and face. If the mouth looks uneven, it runs a short check with machine learning and then sends a Telegram alert.
• For falls, it detects a person sudden falls. If no movement is detected, the system will again send an alert.
• This gives family members a chance to take quick action and save lives.
