Maintaining discipline in classrooms when teachers are not present has always been a challenge in schools. To address this issue, we developed Prime Monitoring Technology (PMT)—an innovative system designed to monitor classroom conditions by detecting noise levels and providing real-time notifications through IoT technology. PMT is powered by a Raspberry Pi 3 board and programmed using Python Flask. The system uses a noise level detector to monitor loudness in the classroom. If the noise exceeds a set threshold, LED indicators and an LCD module are triggered to signal that the classroom is too noisy. Additionally, the device includes a webcam to capture real-time video footage of the classroom, which teachers can view remotely through website, allowing them to monitor the situation from a distance. The device is lightweight, portable, and simple to set up, making it suitable for use in any classroom. By combining noise detection and real-time video monitoring, PMT offers an effective and reliable solution to help maintain classroom discipline and improve overall classroom management.
