Early detection of symptoms like fever plays a vital role in preventing outbreaks, protecting vulnerable children, and maintaining uninterrupted education. In response, Time-Nutrix was developed as a low-cost, integrated digital solution that combines student attendance tracking with real-time temperature monitoring. The system incorporates RFID-based student identification, a contactless infrared thermometer (K3 PRO), Arduino microcontrollers, and cloud-based storage. Upon arrival, students scan their RFID-enabled ID cards while their temperature is automatically recorded. This data is uploaded instantly to a secure cloud platform. If a fever is detected, the system sends an immediate Telegram alert to school administrators, enabling timely intervention. To further enhance safety, Ultra High Frequency (UHF) RFID readers are placed across the school to monitor student movements, generating time-stamped logs that can be used for contact tracing in the event of an outbreak. Time-Nutrix successfully demonstrated its ability to deliver accurate digital attendance, non-invasive health monitoring, instant fever alerts, and secure data management. By combining administrative efficiency with health surveillance, the system supports both school operations and public health goals. It aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, showcasing the potential of technology in promoting preventive care. Affordable, practical, and scalable, Time-Nutrix offers strong commercialization potential and has proven effective in real-world testing. Its implementation reduces the risk of disease transmission, enhances preparedness, and contributes to safer, healthier school environments, particularly in low-resource settings.
