The development of this Smart Locker System focuses on improving the security of Tengku Ampuan Afzan Vocational College Residential College dormitory lockers. This system was developed because Tengku Ampuan Afzan Vocational College Residential College students have security problems on their dormitory locker doors because it is easy for students to break in because it is easy for anyone to access the locker to take things. In addition, students also experience problems in taking a long time to open and close their lockers because the process taken is manual and students also have problems related to the use of old keys, easily broken, lost and damaged due to the small and easy size of the keys rusty This project was created to provide solutions to students such as to improve the security of the locker doors in the dormitory, make it easier for users to access their lockers and prevent locker keys from being lost. In this project we have used the ADDIE process which is Analysis, Development, Design, Implementation, and Evaluation to complete this project. In this project we will use arduino uno as a microcontroller that controls the process of opening and closing student lockers and we will also replace normal locks with the use of fingerprints.
This system is expected to help reduce cases of theft and improve the security of lockers for Tengku Ampuan Afzan Vocational College Residential College students.
