Natural rubber foam (NRF) is developed as an antistatic material for application as electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection containers for sensitive electronic devices. To induce the static dissipation performance for insulating NR, conductive filler as carbon nanotube (CNT) is vavied in NR latex compound at 0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.2 and 0.5 part per hundred rubber (phr). The propared foam was characterized for its surface resistivity, density and morphological properties. The result demonstrated that CNT loading of 0.1 phr is the minimum required to achieve surface resistivity of 10^5 ohm/square, which falls within the ESD-safe range.
