This study explores the innovative use of assistive instructional tools in teaching Adapted Physical Education (APE) for students with autism under the Inclusive Special Education Program (PPKI) in Seremban, Malaysia. Using a qualitative case study with five purposively selected teachers, data were collected through semi-structured interviews and classroom observations across two phases: pre-intervention and intervention. The introduction of audio-visual assistive tools during lessons improved focus, motivation, and classroom participation. Findings reveal that teachers faced challenges in sustaining attention and managing behavior, but structured strategies and teaching aids enhanced engagement. Overall, the study highlights how innovative assistive tools can transform inclusive teaching practices and improve learning outcomes.
