Abstract – NimbusCatch

NimbusCatch is a smart and eco-friendly system that collects fog and rainfall, filters it into clean water, and powers daily use at home. The water is stored in tanks and used for drinking, washing, flushing, and even for generating electricity using solar panels and dynamo power.

The system includes:

-        A rainfall collector filtration system that captures rain and filters it into safe, usable water

-        A smart toilet that flushes by itself and reuses the waste-water to water plants and vegetables

-        An auto water dispenser that helps save water by dispensing the optimal amount of clean water for daily community use

-        A smart water control system that fully manages water usage for the plants

-        A disaster alert system that detects earthquakes, fire, or other emergencies and sounds an alarm to protect the family

All parts are powered and automated using Arduino Uno and Maker Uno.

What makes NimbusCatch special is that the entire system is handmade using recycled and eco-friendly materials, especially bamboo. All materials used have also been treated for fire resistance, ensuring safety alongside sustainability.

NimbusCatch shows how we can turn fog and rainfall into clean water and green energy — using smart technology, DIY creativity, and nature to build a safer, smarter, and cleaner future.
