Egg shell is simply thrown away and become waste products. Instead of throwing these away, this shell can be used as a chalk. The objective of our project is to reduce the waste of eggshell. We created chalk made up of eggshells where a dust would not exist. This chalk is more convenient as it would not leave any dust on our hands during writing. The process involving crushing eggshells and addition of a binder like flour and shaping the mixture into a chalk stick. The chalk also is non-toxic and generally considered safe for use by children.
