The bear detection device was developed to help Mr. Ahmad, a beekeeper in Taman Negara, Pahang, protect his stingless bee farm from bear attacks. Traditional solutions are costly and harmful, so this solar-powered, wireless system offers an affordable, eco-friendly alternative. It uses a video camera to monitor the area, with live footage analyzed by a laptop to detect bears. When a bear is spotted, the system activates an alarm and sends alerts via a mobile app, effectively scaring the bear away and informing Mr. Ahmad and his team. It operates with minimal maintenance, day and night.
