The Digital Classroom: Smart Entry Monitoring System was developed to enhance safety and automation at classroom entrances using ultrasonic sensors, LEDs, an LCD screen, and a servo motor. The system detects student movement and automatically opens the barrier when presence is identified, with user-friendly status displays on the LCD and red LED alerts. Built by students using the PictoBlox platform based on Arduino Uno through a project-based learning approach, the system demonstrates improved entry control, efficiency, and safety. This project also provides students with hands-on digital learning experiences, showcasing the real-world potential of simple yet effective smart technologies.
