The Pilot MGVS program is an innovative reward system introduced to address student truancy through the principles of behaviorism by B.F. Skinner. Students are encouraged to attend school daily and record their attendance consistently. Those who achieve 20 consecutive days of full attendance receive the prestigious Pilot MGVS recognition during assembly, with their photo in a pilot uniform proudly displayed in the counselling room. This positive reinforcement has motivated students to improve their attendance, enhanced their sense of belonging, and cultivated discipline. The program has proven effective in reducing truancy while promoting responsibility, pride, and school engagement.
