The SlowGrow project introduces an organic fertilizer designed to naturally slow down grass growth while maintaining soil fertility and environmental sustainability. The main goal of this project is to reduce the frequency of lawn mowing, lower maintenance costs, and minimize noise and air pollution caused by lawnmowers. The fertilizer is made using natural and recycled materials such as eggshells, coffee grounds, and compost, which are processed into fine powder and mixed with natural binders like tapioca flour, apple cider vinegar, molasses, and coconut oil. The SlowGrow fertilizer releases nutrients slowly into the soil, resulting in more controlled grass growth. This environmentally friendly innovation supports SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 15 (Life on Land) by promoting sustainable agricultural practices and reducing carbon emissions. Overall, SlowGrow helps create a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable environment while cutting down on time, labor, and costs in lawn maintenance.
