Virtual Booth

The Duo Heat Solar Oven project was inspired from the basic Year 4 Science Unit 9 project. The main problem was that the oven took too long to cook an egg. The goal was to make the oven use clean solar power more efficiently. The design uses double reflectors and also using dark colour of surface to maximize heat absorbtion.The final prototype reached a temperature 15% higher, making it faster at warming food. This cheap, eco-friendly invention helps students and teachers to learn how to use solar power in daily life.
