Effective vocabulary instruction for primary learners demands innovative strategies that encourage active involvement and deeper comprehension. This study introduces the classic board game “Guess Who?” as a gamified tool in English language teaching to support vocabulary development. Conventional approaches to vocabulary learning often lack excitement and are less adaptable to varied learner needs. By integrating the interactive and deductive features of “Guess Who?”, this research examines its impact on students’ vocabulary retention and practical usage in classroom contexts. Employing a mixed-methods design, the study combines quantitative measures of vocabulary acquisition with qualitative insights into learner engagement and attitudes. The outcomes are expected to offer valuable implications for educators, showcasing how gamified instruction can stimulate motivation, enhance participation, and foster an engaging learning atmosphere that strengthens language acquisition.
