The topic of “unpacking the curriculum” in pedagogy courses is often challenging for students due to its abstract concepts, overlapping terminology, and the need for deep analytical thinking. EduRungkai is an interactive digital kit developed to help students better understand and apply curriculum concepts in a structured and meaningful way.A pilot study was conducted with 30 PGDE students at a teacher education institute in Sabah. Pre-test findings showed that students faced difficulties in completing tasks due to limited understanding of curriculum components, and frequently misinterpreted the distinctions between explicit, implicit, and hidden curriculum. Post-test results indicated significant improvement in conceptual clarity, confidence in curriculum analysis, and the ability to apply their understanding in real educational contexts. Interview feedback further highlighted that the kit supported students in visualising key ideas and approaching curriculum unpacking more systematically.Overall, EduRungkai demonstrates strong potential as a flexible microlearning tool for enhancing curriculum understanding.
